Power of perception!

Perception is so powerful!

We perceive things! We perceive through our senses if we can strive through those hurdles and reach our desired destination!

Take the example of a sapling.

We water it, it receives sunlight and oxygen, then it grows into a big plant and bears the fruits and what if we don’t provide it with the necessary food it needs to survive?

Will it survive?

Similarly when we perceive things, we need to plant our thoughts,

Nurture them with hard work and determination,

Allow ourselves to be more active rather than ignorant and work towards the better.

The end result is we stand up tall and experienced with the badge of knowledge on our chests and mind working proficiently then ever before and we succeed.

Did we not hear the famous dialogue which says,”Agar Kisi cheez ko shiddat Se chaho toh puri kaaynaat tumhe usse Milane mein lag jaati Hai.

Yes, it is true for the fact that it inculcates a sense of belief and hope in us whenever we hear and think about the driving forces of the universe!

The universe is magical,

There is always some power like the gravitational pull which is pulling us towards the things we always wanted to achieve,

Towards the person we always wanted to become,

Towards the ideal we wanted to be for others and most importantly ,

Towards the overall human being we perceived ourselves to be.

We are not here to compete with others, but the universe.

There are a number of people in the queue waiting for their perfect timings, for the things to happen and you are one of them.

Think about the quality you need for the universe to recognize your worth amongst so many dreamers and make things work in your favour.

You have that within you,

Belief plays a major role.

Patience is the key.

Nothing in life comes easy and we have to wait for better things to come always.

This might be a statement too overrated but it deserves the hype.

When we work regularly for our dreams to come true,

the universe somehow makes it happen.

The things feel like magic.

And the reason we need to believe ,

When we perceive, we achieve,

The moment we are at ease,

The power of the universe will decrease.

Keep your dreams concrete,

And my dear you will succeed.

College, Canteen- Singles ka Valentine.

This poem contains a written version as well as an audio one…
The written version is a beauty but the audio has it’s own magic, it’s own charm..
Hope you will enjoy both!!

Mere college ka apna experience iss poetry mein mai sunaunga, Har line ko rhyme karke pura raita yaha phelaunga.

Admin ka building aur koi nahi, mere chacha ne banaya hai,Lekin us building mein ghusne ke liye achha 5-digit rank ana hi ana hai.

Pehle din laga tha, Hall-14 mein 2 sharing aur attached bathroom wala room denge,Ab toh corona ake bhi 8-mahine hogaye hai, hum toh 4-saal aise hi nikal lenge.

Yeh compulsory PT aur sports ke sessions hamare chaen ki neend kha rahe hai,Dhyan se dekho sabko, body fit rakhne ke chakkar mein log class mein jake so rahe hai.

Dekhta hoon jake jab raat ka khatarnak khana mere toh asu tapak padhte hai,Dil kehta hai chhod yaar!, chaal aaj SWIGGY se order kar aate hai.

College mein 2-type ke log nazar aate hai, Ek jo coursera ka har ek course karta hai,Aur dusra woh jo Night-out ke chakkar mein apna hostel hi bhul jata hai.

Poore din college mein messages ka khel chalta hai,Aur agar kisika Birthday aye, phir toh whatsapp backup karne mein bhi 2-ghante lag jata hai.

Mere tensions ko ab aur badha diya hai,Kyunki, mahine ghataye do, par syllabus utna ke utna hi rakh diya hai.

Hum toh apne department ka CR khud se hi ban jayenge,Agar aap internship mein – khud ka college nahi, MITACS pe Canada le jayenge.

Engineer hoon, Pyaar par do lavse na bolu aisa ho nahi sakta,Dil ke dukh batane ki iss opportunity ko kho nahi sakta. Raat mein Electrical lab ke raaste se jaane mein darr lagta hai,Kabhi Kabhi puchta hoon.. Haye dil…hamare saath hi aisa kyun hota hai.

Pehla saal ALL-IS-WELL kehke nikal liya,Ab toh juniors bhi haaste hai, aur seniors taunt maarke bhaaga dete hai.Tum log manaoge VALENTINE, hum toh SHIVRATRI manaenge,

Couples jayenge BBQ-NATION aur MAINLAND-CHINA, hum toh jhoops se hi kaam chalaenge.Yeh guitar aur gym wale tumhe kitna khush kar payenge,Comedy wale ke saath ghumo, hum tumhe chaubis ghante ghumaenge.

Ek baar gaya tha, huwa tha kisike saath cross-connection,Piche se awaz ayi — “Uth ja!”, Late huwa, toh milega professor ka attention!.Mujhe lagta hai sabke kismaat mein ek soul-mate likhi hoti hai,Lekin soulmate dhudne ke chakkar mein, chaar saal mein itne achhe dost jo bane hote hai.

Socha tha yeh poem Engineer’s Day” par post karoon,Phir yaad aya…Are yaar Engineer hoon!” Hamare yaha sab kuch LATE se hi toh hota hai…

Even a dry bread, doesn’t kill the taste.

Don’t we ever get tired of being pretentious? Okay, sorry. First let me put you on the same page as I’m in. But the thing is, it’s quite tough for me as well, to precisely bring up the context, I maybe thinking about. Everything is in a hanging kind of state. What I mean by that is, I can’t put before you in a plate, any of my single thoughts, and make you digest that. This kinda statement might sound condescending somehow, but believe me, I’m just trying to season the current mood on these lines. It’s like the starters, you’re given at a barbecue’s table and then leaving no room for the main course for you to intake. Now, this analogy may create inside you a temptation to order something on Zomato, as you’re unable to make a visit particularly on barbecue due to this very inevitable situation. But, I think, you may reconsider, and want some breads with an irregular layer of butter spread on it. And, yeah, definitely some tea. One thing, I accidentally happened to like about breads is the subtle taste it has got. Oh! It seems, I have deviated from the very question I asked. Or, maybe I’m just trying to keep before you the daily mood that spans my day, until something fills me with disgust, and kills my taste for everything, in that very moment.

All started with a “hi-hey” and then an admission of one’s currents problems. And now that I’m writing, I must confess that, from the very first lines, I happened to feel that there was some pretending going on. But it resides in our human nature to pretend something to a certain extent. And this very thought, prevented me from giving it a second thought. It’s again quite normal to have a thirst for experimenting, when we talk to someone who’s a stranger. Hence, I did convey my thoughts, which I thought has the ability to make that person find solace in that very situation. And, then, we were under a cycle of sharing and appreciation. Ugh man! I don’t think, I want to remember the whole thing. Just want to say one thing, in this whole conversation, I never had said any word that could make anyone use the word “harsh” against me. Also, I should say, the person even said, that he/she respects me. And, now I know, it was a fake thing, one could say. These things just keep on justifying that, first impressions are never fully wrong. So, yeah, a lesson, that sometimes a quest to get intimate and become selfless can engulf you with disgust in the end.

Bye. Forget it.
